Create vibrant, long-lasting photo prints wherever inspiration strikes with the Canon SELPHY CP1500. This compact wireless photo printer uses dye-sublimation technology to produce smooth colour gradations, realistic skin tones and detailed prints from compatible smartphones, cameras, computers, memory cards and USB flash drives.

Unlike an inkjet printer, the SELPHY CP1500 uses a thermal dye-sublimation process that applies yellow, cyan and magenta colour layers followed by a protective overcoat. This produces up to 16.7 million colours and helps protect completed prints against water, scratches and fingerprints. When stored correctly in an album, prints can retain their quality for up to 100 years.

Postcard-size 100 × 148 mm photographs can be printed in approximately 41 seconds, while credit-card-size prints take approximately 23 seconds. Compatible media options include postcard prints, credit-card-size photographs, credit-card-size stickers, square stickers and sheets of mini stickers.

Built-in Wi-Fi enables convenient printing from compatible iOS and Android devices using the Canon SELPHY Photo Layout app. The app allows users to customise photographs with layouts, borders, text, stamps, filters and QR codes. Images can also be printed directly from compatible cameras, Windows or Mac computers, SD memory cards and USB-C storage devices.

The large 3.5-inch LCD provides a clear view of images, settings and printer status. Its compact, lightweight design makes the SELPHY CP1500 easy to place in the home or transport for parties, events, school activities, scrapbooking and creative projects.

An optional Canon NB-CP2LI battery pack allows printing away from a mains power outlet. The battery is sold separately.
